Two Dog Farm is a family-run certified organic farm located near Davenport in Santa Cruz County, about 70 miles south of San Francisco.

We sell our produce seasonally (late May to mid November) at farmer's markets and retail stores in Santa Cruz and San Francisco.

We pride ourselves on high quality, delicious produce.

Don't miss the dry-farmed tomatoes! See how more than 25 years of dry-farming experience makes a difference.

Our amazing dry-farmed tomatoes are the best tasting around!

Well, I did set up Facebook for Two Dog Farm and found it easy to work with so that's where I have been doing this spring's updates so far. But that's no excuse to slack on my website responsibilities. So, I , Nibby Bartle swear that I will heed those who say I need to update my site and get this place looking all nice and shiny for 2012! I've got lots of great photos, plenty of interesting farm stuff going on even this slow time of year, and you get me in the right mood and I can go on about all sorts of stuff.

For example I've been thinking that vegans like me and farmers who do sustainable meats should be teaming up to educate the public about the nastiness of factory farming and the need for new ways to think about food. Know your food! Grow your own as much as you can! And know your farmers.

We at Two Dog have just started our growing season. We did the first round of greens planting and will plant more in the greens field this week. The tomatoes are finally getting some sun and are growing into healthy little seedlings in the greenhouse. Mark works the fields whenever there is a dry window and we are not far from tomato planting time! OK! Let's see if I can get some new photos for y'all!
